I haven't written for a few days now. We are in Wales at Aforn Morfa, my Granny's holiday house. On the 4th was Nain's 100th. Gaia (my eldest cousin) gave me an elephant bracelet.

Nain liked how I have a Welsh middle name. On the 5th Granny drove us to Aforn Morfa and Gaia drove her sister Zoe. We climbed the waterfall by Aforn Morfa. On the 6th we woke Gaia and Zoe up at 11:00 by throwing paper airplanes at them. We went to the animalarium/zoo in Borth. We saw lots of animals including meerkats, a talking cockatoo and monkeys. I have decided that I need a pygmy marmoset.

Yesterday we walked to Barmouth and played on the 2p machines. They were really fun.  Gaia is leaving soon to her flat.

Today is the 4th of July and I am in North Wales for Nain's 100th birthday party. I am now sitting in mum and dad's room in the hotel. I haven't written a post for a couple of days now nor have I written my journal that much recently. On July the 2nd I woke up a 5:55 and got in the pool at 6:00. Later that day Lui, Nico, Torin and I made an iMovie using Lui's GoPro. We did lots of things around the property and then stuck them all together with some music. Here it is:

Lui is the one in the grey vest, Nico is the one with the blue shirt and Torin is the one in the black vest. After that we went for a walk to the green and walked back through fields of barley, wheat and spinach. Half way through it started to rain! On the third we woke up at 6:20 and were in the pool early too. Everyone went to Bury st. edmonds but I didn't go, I stayed with grandma and granddad. When the others were out, I put my hand in the fish pond and left it there for a while and the fish tried to eat it! The others came back for a while then they went for a walk town old town but Xanthe and I didn't go, we stayed with grandma and granddad again. We picked strawberries and decorated a flan with grandma. Today we got up at 7:00 (I think) and got ready to go. We drove for 2-3 hrs and got here and got changed then went downstairs to eat.

Sorry that I haven't emailed or done my blog for a while. We had internet at the hotel but it wouldn't let me access my emails or blog. Anyways, soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much stuff has been going on. I am sitting on my mum's bed at my grandma's house writing this and not knowing where to start. So, I got on the plane and watched T.V. Then I watched more T.V. Then I went to sleep. Then I watched more T.V. Then I was almost sick. Then we landed. :-) Shanghai was so hot! I have got heaps of cool pics of stuff we saw. Our hotel was called the Astor House Hotel. We were on the 4th floor. It was really big and old. There were so many cool things in Shanghai. There was animal topiary, cool buildings, crazy driving and stuff like that. Here are some photos:

When we were taking photos of the flower wall, random Chinese people came up and asked to have photos with us! We tried lychees (a Chinese fruit) for the first time. I went on the Metro for the first time! The Metro is an underground train. Nico (who often says funny stuff) said something really funny before we got to the Metro. We said "We're going on the underground train" Nico said "Where is it?" We said "Underground!" On the way to the airport we got stuck in a non-moving traffic jam for an hour. We flew Virgin Atlantic to London and I have to say I like it more than New Zealand on Air. They had wifi but I didn't want to use it. On the way back from the airport we had some snacks including Hula Hoops! This is a picture of a Hula Hoops packet:

When we got to Grandma's we went in the pool with only our undies on!
