At the moment it is 9:48 and I surprisingly don't feel that sleepy. We were finishing packing today and my room is MAJORLY empty. We went to our neighbour's to give them half a block of cheese, an almost full box of crackers and a partially used block of butter. I am really, really, really excited about our trip but I have mostly gotten over my nervousness/sacredness.

We are in Auckland now. Our friends Kate, Jason, Lui and Nico are in the Koru Club and managed to get us into the Koru Lounge! That means free food and internet! We board our next plane at 10:30ish and take off at 11:00. We land in Shanghai at 7:00 in the morning but it will feel like lunch time. On the plane Torin, Nico and Lui got to hand out the lollies! Nico got to make an announcement over the loud speaker and after they got to wear the steward's jacket and they got a cup full of lollies and a sick bag of chips and biscuits and me and Xanthe got a cup full of lollies each and a sick bag of chips and biscuits to share. This is me in the Koru Lounge:

Haha - let the festivities begin ! exciting times Isis. Now, before I forget, we will be reading "Night Vision" by Ella West in Term 3. She's a NZ author. You might like to download it. We will be reading it with a lot of other classes around NZ and all keeping in touch via Edmodo. Edmodo is a very simple user platform, so don't worry about that. I'll let you know more about it soon. You won't need to do anything major - perhaps contribute to some discussions when you have a chance. Wishing a quick recovery from jetlag :) Talk soon.
